Jeremy Humphries is an award winning Director of Photography

His professional career began as a Trainee Assistant Film Cameraman at the BBC’s prestigious Ealing Film Studios. After two years of camera training and field craft, Jeremy qualified and was promoted to Assistant Film Cameraman.

In this role, he worked on many well-known dramas and documentaries, including shooting for the David Attenborough’s ‘First Eden’ series and as focus puller on the ground breaking series ‘Edge of Darkness’.

As a DoP Jeremy has worked on a huge and eclectic profile of productions throughout his career. From observational to drama documentary and from high definition to film.

Jeremy has worked on countless series and productions for BBC Television, Channel 4, ITV, Discovery, WGBH, National Geographic and a multitude of independent production companies in the UK and abroad.

Jeremy is frequently asked questions:

  • Where did you learn to shoot observational?

  • How do I learn self-shooting skills?

  • What light did you use on that drama-documentary?

With the distinct advantage of all being practising professionals in their fields, Jeremy and his Associate Trainers now provide an ever increasing range of workshops.

This has enabled Jeremy to achieve a long coveted desire to establish a ‘Centre of Excellence’ where individuals and companies alike can be empowered by the personal experiences and the knowledge of all S2F Associates, both in the UK and in Asia.
